So is this all poppycock? https://www.healthline.com/health/msg-symptom-complex I mean, the linked article says that allergic reactions to MSG are unproven but it also doesn't AT ALL mention that MSG occurs naturally in many foods (beyond those with ADDED MSG like soy sauce, TVP, autolyzed yeast etc).

And secondly, what are the likely real causes of the sometimes very serious histamine reactions people report after eating food with added MSG, like some Chinese food, some red wine, TVP, soy products with soy protein isolate, etc.? My father said his doctor told him (probably in the 1980s) that he was allergic to MSG when he got a headache after drinking red wine and even I can hazard a guess as to the real cause there, but what about in other less-obvious cases? Also, I appreciate your work! Thank you for doing and sharing it.

After I read that, I went on instagram and I watched a guy advising against buying some product because of MSG, oh irony
